Chinese Energetics / Taoist Practices

Chinese energetic practices derive from thousands of years of practice and inquiry, and are deeply interconnected with the elemental dynamics of the earth, society and cosmos. There are five branches -- qigong, nutrition, Tuina (massage), herbs, and acupuncture. While translated through Chinese culture, much of the practices of the vivid grove, such as the qigong practices, predate the empire, and arise from tribal cultures of the region. Morphed through culture and hxtory, these practices are relevant and potent for a healthful life. In this context, we practice movement, meditation, hands-on massage, praxis, and more, and discuss within the cultural context, with an intention towards conscious, and collective liberation founded in practical and organic knowledge.
