Over the decades, margit has taught a mosaic of dance and movement workshops and classes in and around movement and dance. The substance and materials draw from a wide array of forms, practices, creative processes, integrations, cultural, and aesthetic research. These are offered in different contexts, - in studios, outdoors, and online- and offered throughout the year through the vivid grove creative cycle. The materials are drawn from decades of dance and movement research, steeped in cultural contextualizing, composition, choreography, collective study, and creative practice. Margit has also curated performances, trainings, festivals, and a wide variety of events over decades of practice.
The work draws from their deep study in an array of forms; shx stewards these practices over decades, and then they cook. Amerta Movement, Qigong and the Taoist Healing Arts, Tuning Scores, sensory perceptual composition practices, collective justice and group processes, and so much more. And from them a garden of offerings unique to mixing over time. Some of the titles (though in no way exhaustive) of the movement classes include: The Tuning Garden, Moving Qi, Dance Vision, Qigong Dance Furnace, Feldenkrais-into-Movement, vivid grove Creative Art Evolution Guild, Vivid Space Dance, Contemplative Dance Practice (created by Barbara Dilley), Restorative Movement, Inscriptions, Sensing Body's Moving Language, Inscriptions, Cave Art / Incubations, Tender Movements, Embodied Language and Culture, and Creative Research/Tools.
Margit has also gathered people in all different sizes of groups for sharing movement, collective experiments, and subtle and sensing movement and culture contexts, some of which have never been named. Shx also teaches collaboratively, and some of these learning and sharing projects are listed throughout the vivid grove site.
