The vivid grove offers a myriad of ways to support the creative process, as it is entangled and embedded in through most every facet of the work. margit offers coaching, teaching, collective learning experiences, and co-creates festival settings and choreographic encounters and experiences that all provide a space of support for creation. This creative support ranges from the facilitational ethics, the forms that are offered, a deep-seated intention in supporting expression, as well a ton of experimentation, failure, and humility. margit supports creation in the way shx choreographs, with deep inquiries into the nature of things, relationally, through collective imagining, in questioning hierarchies and working to dismantle the implicit power structures and unconscious biases at all levels as is possible. The support comes in the forms of creative consulation and coaching artistic projects, and through group, large-scale, and solo visioning. It takes a trust in the process and a balance between the focus on process and goal, and to hold this in the face of economic pressures and capitalism can be a labor, to un-work. the vivid grove supports the continuum and oscillation between sensing, thinking, feeling, and action, between the personal and the cultural effect, and these kinds of scaled and nuanced perspectives are required for creation to be rich, faceted, have cultural value, and meaningful for those involved.
