Embodied Language and Culture

Over the years, the phrase "Embodied Language and Culture," has encompassed the worlds around which these grove's practices evolve, -- that all language emerges from embodiment, has a specificity that is important to harness into shared spaces, and that these processes of languaging are the bases of cultural life, and nourish and formulate the social world, something like this. While that particular phrase has receded into an imaginal glossary, it indeed underlies most all of the practices and projects that are assembled in the grove. This place and space to suport the expression of each person's unique voice, any utterances, the many ways of expression as symbolic, gestural, gutteral, erotic, intuitive, orientating, potent, quiet, meaningful, nonsensical, poetic, functional, organic, creative, and impactful. Embodied languaging is a practice and a view. And also as part of embodiment is the channel underneath language, the felt sense, a spiritual practice, a contact with the earth, whatever arises, as there are many forms available.
