Part of the depth and potency of the vivid grove are the roots in dance and movement arts. As a practitioner of movement forms over time, I am consistently surprised how movement of all forms can produce changes in action, in intention, in the psyce, in capacity for visioning and perspective. Dance and the movement arts specifically offer something unique, the kind of intentional space of crwativity in action; this translates within one's daily life, as well as in one's breadth of possibilities. Over the years I have studied a panoply of movement forms, and have centered around several because their explorative, intelligent, and dimensional views are truly profound. Some of these are: Amerta Movement, Tuning Scores,Wild Goose Qigong, Material for the Spine, Contemplative Dance Practice (Barbara Dilley), Authentic Movement, and the creative work of so many teachers, dancers, facilitators and practitoners, roots in contact improv, modern forms, indeed in the base of my being somehow....
