Movement Education and Collective Embodied Leadership for the Growth of Individuals and Organizations

Over the span of years that the vivid grove has been a movement and learning vehicle, margit has facilitated, worked on, and forged multiple movement Trainings. These Trainings have spanned from lead teaching in a year-long hybrid somatic and movement teacher training in China, to providing movement education in the context of cultural and justice workgroups, to transfer trainings for professional home health care workers, to providing embodied empowerment trainings for immigrant laborers, and supporting and advocating for embodiment support for aging, disabled, and developmentally delayed and neurodivergent communities.

This Training work includes service offerings in realms as diverse as teaching, facilitating, co-creating curriculum, leading group processes, developing rubrics for applications, collaborating with organizations and agencies, seeking funding and co-authoring grants, and curating facilitator-teachers from hir vast experience working with movement educators, movement artists, and cultural workers over time. The vivid grove can provide support and leadership for many aspects of the processes required to develop and enact the hefty work of embodied trainings.

Margit has collaborated with an array of diverse organizations and additionally has co-found groups such as: East Bay Innovations, After Sunset, Filipino Advocates for JusticeCalGrows, Earthdance, Art Workouts, and the Tuning Culture collective.
